Performing SEO is the only way for your website to rank higher in the search results without paying for advertising.

SEO is an abbreviation for the term search engine optimization…
Search engine optimization (SEO) is what you do to increase the traffic to your website from organic search results on platforms such as Google and Bing.
If done correctly, SEO will benefit you in four ways. It will:
  1. Allow your website to come up in search results for the most profitable search queries (also called keywords);
  2. Improve your search engine rankings – that is, the position at which a page from your website appears in the search engine results;
  3. Ensure that the best page from your website appears in the results for each individual search query; and
  4. Improve the clickthrough rate to your website – that is, the ratio of users who click on your result as opposed to all others.
Performing SEO is the only way for your website to rank higher in the search results without paying for advertising. SEO helps you maximize the benefits of search engines as a marketing channel.

SEO: Dmoz Listing Checker and About Mobile Friendly Tes websites are rank higher in search resultt

DMOZ is the largest human-built directory which was created by AOL. Search Engines like Google, always give preference to those sites which are listed in DMOZ, and these websites are ranked higher in search results. If your site is not listed in DMOZ, then you also submit your site for free but for the approval, you need to have a quality website with a good reputation.

Always use SEOToolStation's DMOZ Listing Checker Tool as it requires no signup or registration. Just paste all your domains in the textbox and let our tool do the work for you. It's fast, free and accurate.

About Dmoz Listing Checker
If you are new to the topic of SEO you may have never heard of dmoz.org, otherwise known as the Open Directory Project or ODP. ODP is a human-run and edited online directory that has been around since 1998, making it quite the dinosaur in internet terms. The fact that it is still, to this day, completely human edited sets it apart from many large directories and just about all search engines.
Whereas Google has a massive system of “crawlers,” software that follows links around the internet to find and index new sites, ODP gains all of its content from user submissions. Those submissions are reviewed by a team of editors – a team of almost 100,000 at the time I’m writing this, according to their site – and, if they meet the requirements, manually added to the directory in the appropriate category.
Why is a 15 Year Old Directory Relevant to Today’s SEO?
The ODP website doesn’t look like much. Honestly, it doesn’t look much different than it looked 15 years ago. How can a site so dated still matter to SEO today?
It doesn’t matter as much as it once did, that much is true. Before it was discontinued in 2011, Google Directory ran on data from ODP, making inclusion highly sought after for a number of years. Now that Google Directory is a thing of the past the benefits of an ODP entry have lessened but that hardly means that they’ve disappeared. Google does still pull data from ODP, including using ODP for generating snippets in search results.
Likewise, a significant number of other directories and search engines pull information from ODP, meaning that inclusion on dmoz.org results in far more weight and authority than just a single backlink. The potential benefit from a small investment of effort makes it well worth submitting your site for consideration.

It may not seem like much on the surface, but deep down, a broken link is doing some serious damage to your website, your reputation, and your business. A single broken link can impact your search engine rankings, your site’s user experience, result in lost customers and revenue, or everyone’s favorite- all of the above.

Broken links are the ones that bring you to a page that says “404 error” and are often accompanied by a clever comment about how the hamster is out to lunch, or blaming it on the intern. The most common, self-inflicted, causes of broken links are:

Renaming or moving a webpage and forgetting to change your internal linksLinking to content (PDFs, videos, etc.) that has been moved or deletedLinking to a third party page, and not knowing when they change the URL or move the page

Whatever the cause, and despite the clever “our bad” message, broken links are frustrating errors that need to be addressed immediately.

SEO: Pages listed in search engines!

Pages listed in search engines!

Make sure to get your website pages properly indexed as per search engines standards to get your site on top in search results.

Your website may contain a few pages, a few hundred pages, or thousands of them. It is important that all the customer-facing pages are indexed by the major search engines. Search engine users will be able to find your webpages only if they are indexed. After going through all the efforts of creating webpages, and performing on-page optimizations, if the search engine users cannot find your webpages, what’s the point of it?

The Indexed Pages section gives you a legend of the total number of webpages indexed by the major search engines. To ensure that you reach maximum audience, make sure that the search engines have indexed all the webpages that you want your audience to see. This has other benefits as well. Search engines think that as the wealth of content on any subject increases on your website, you are a good authority on the respective topic. With more pages indexed, you are perceived to be a stronger authority on the topic by search engines. Your website’s subject authority is one of the most important metrics used by search engines to decide your page rankings.
